@MIZ_CHI_guy @notBSarver35 Exactly right. NIL has given coaches the ability to turn programs around in 1 or 2 seasons. Wasting more than 3 on coach that has shown as little promise as Dennis is not smart.

Bill Self didnt make the NCAA tourney til his 6th season as HC Hurley 7 years to make his first tourney & year 5 at UConn was the first time he made it out of the first round Jay Wright first made the tourney his 6th year as HC Dennis has a tourney win & 4 appearances in 7

@NakedRegis Exactly. It was easy to see the players not confident enough to go get a basket which is when Dennis needs to step in and run an offense. When you run a uptempo read and react offense to make your players happy it leaves you stuck in these up and down seasons.

We are in the Barry Odom stage of Dennis Gates. He does enough for leadership to justify another year while us fans can see the writing on the wall. The talent on the floor doesn’t matter when the coaching isn’t there to pick them up when they need it. 🐯

@WillyQuantrill Fact is Mizzou does not support spring sports to be considered a true SEC member. No easy answers, but the last two years’-+ results are shameful. Not a peep from the AD’s office, who specifically created the softball challenge.
