The luckiest day of my life happened last Thursday. A friend called me to say that a kitten had been abandoned by its mother right outside her house. We waited a few hours to see if the mom would come back. It was as cold as Florida ever gets, with rain coming and going. By 7pm, I was on my way to get the kitten. I had no idea I would fall in love so fast. Even my husband—who adores all animals but has never been a huge fan of cats—is now completely smitten. So, here’s my new little baby! Yesterday, the vet confirmed he’s a boy and praised my kitten-raising skills. But this sweet little guy still doesn’t have a name. We already have a cat named Binx and a dog named Buddy, so we wanted to pick a good name starting with B. It’s been tough, haha, but being blessed by the CDS has brought me so much happiness!
