The airport opened for flight operations at 10:15a yesterday (Jan 22nd) and continues to be open and safe for commercial flight operations. Some flights are arriving/departing; however airlines may have delays or cancellations. Please check directly with your airline for flight status before heading to ILM.

Wilmington's Traffic Engineering Division has begun implementing an updated traffic signal policy in accordance with NCDOT requirements. Malfunctioning traffic signals will now display flashing red (stop) in all directions. Please be aware of this change moving forward! 🚦

Over these two events, we gave away 47 children's bicycle helmets. These helmets are provided to us for distribution through @NCDOT 's Bicycle Helmet Initiative. We are excited to continue to distribute these helmets and engage with the community throughout our 2024 outreach!
