@TourPenzance A true favourite branch line of mine. We often stay at Carbis Bay, just by the station. We use the line going either way as well as walk the coast footpath to St Ives or Lelant...marvellous

@railnigel All looks a bit cleaner these days, but not so atmospheric. A 170 doesn't have the same excitement as a 31 pounding out of Leicester

Recommended. Benny’s next to Crewe Alexandra’s ground, just a few minutes from the station. Unwanted items (beans, hash browns) kindly swapped. 😋

@mark395625 Hmm it was fun at Sheffield as pax diverted to MML. 1635 ex SHF was full at 1620 and still more pushed on the 5-car 222, then having pushed past the dozen or so in the vestibules, wanted to try another carriage and pushed by again. 🙈
