Today, we're excited to introduce our Desktop Node, which uses less than 5% of the resources of a Chromium browser and handles 10x more bandwidth than the chrome extension. The first wave of invites have been invited to a select group of users (👀 @GigaBuds_) to beta test the Desktop Node ahead of its full release. By joining the network via the Desktop Node, your network score receives a multiplier of 2x. The multiplier is reflective of the fact that these nodes have better uptime, improved latency, and priority routing in the network.
