Badgers are experimenting with printing with bubble wrap to create texture. This will be used in a collaborative piece as part of our work on mosaics and collage. 🎨 🖌️ 🖼️

Badgers are exploring the work of Japanese artist Hokusai, and Hawaiian artist Margaret Godfrey, to gather ideas for representing Mt. Vesuvius as part of our Roman topic.

These Badgers had a great morning, participating in a wheelchair awareness workshop provided by @gokidsgotweets It was harder than it looked, playing tag on wheels! They learnt to do a wheelie to get over door thresholds. 🦽

In today’s Science lesson on ‘Sound’, Badgers’ class made a string telephone to investigate how sounds travel over a longer distance. You could try this experiment at home!

We had a music workshop with @musicsquadhq where every child had the opportunity to try out group keyboard lessons. What a fun session! Spot the child who moved in the panoramic photo! 🤣

Badgers came into a darkened classroom, illuminated only by strings of sparkling lights. Sweet floral smells drifted across the room & there was the sound of crickets & running water in the distance. What could all of this be about? More clues about the setting for our writing.
