Another brilliant day campaigning in Windle speaking to as many residents as possible ahead of polling day on Thursday. Remember it’s 2 votes for Labour in Windle, and remember you need photo ID at the polling station! 🪪 #VoteLabour 🌹

We are so pleased that former Saint Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook is endorsing our Labour candidate Lisa Preston in the council by-election on Thursday. Louie says: “Lisa is passionate about the community & has a long track record of working with the most vulnerable in St. Helens” 🌹

Patients like those I met in Leicestershire should not be forced to queue at 8am on the phone to book a GP appointment. Labour will end the 8am scramble so you can see a GP when you need to. It’s time for change. It will only happen if you vote for it next Thursday.

My Labour government will fix our NHS. Our long-term plan will bring back the family doctor and provide the reform needed to get patients seen on time again. Vote for change on Thursday 4 July.

It is utterly shameful of Rishi Sunak to blame NHS staff for his failures on NHS waiting lists. It won’t wash with the public.

It is a privilege to stand with D-Day veterans in Normandy today as we mark this historic anniversary. The story of D-Day is not only one of individual courage, but of collective strength. We must never forget the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces personnel.
