On 15 February 2025, Windrush Foundation organised the first Windrush Line Heritage Tour that started at Dalston Junction Station, Hackney. It runs through several Boroughs where many Empire Windrush passengers lived. Let us know if you are interested in coming with us next time.

Tonight, the National Lottery is holding a major celebratory event that marks its 30th anniversary. It was set up on 19 November 1994. Windrush Foundation, one of its 30 Game Changers, was founded in 1995 by Sam King and Arthur Torrington, and will be among the guests.

Ex-RAF WWII veteran Alford Gardner, age 98, a pioneering member of the Windrush Generation given honour from Leeds Council: name inscribed on wall of honour in civic hall. He will be given an award by Leeds Sports for work he did setting up the UK's 1st Caribbean Cricket Club
