So proud to have had 2000 people in at the CACG last night for a standalone Women's match - a record for the new era of Tier One cricket in the UK ❤️ A true watershed moment as many traditional Somerset Men's supporters would have been following Gloucestershire vs Somerset in a huge local derby taking place at exactly the same time. A packed fixture list, but our team came together and used this match to drive a new audience with competitive pricing, a Taylor Swift tribute act and an extensive marketing campaign 🎶🎶 It was amazing to see so many new people come to the ground for the first time, take in cricket for the first time (generating an amazing atmosphere during the game), then watch the lovely Forever Swift on the Somerset Leisure stage 👏 #WeAreSomerset
