One of my biggest #Gambling𝕏 pet peeves is when people say things like, “It’s -160, there’s no value,” or “Congrats, you hit a -160. Not impressive.” I feel that as long as the odds aren’t -201 or worse, whatever play I’m maxing is worth taking if I have strong confidence in it — regardless of the reasoning. People on here act like -160 isn’t impressive when it hits. Well, just look at last night: the Wild vs. Avalanche Under 6.5 was around -160, and that game ended with 16 goals. People can shit on the odds all they want, but -160s miss too. The Celtics to advance past the first round were -1000… and that didn’t happen. At the end of the day, money is money. What matters most to me is long-term profitability, which I’ve proven over the almost year I’ve been doing this. I’m not saying all my plays are -150 -160 or higher — they aren’t. I’m just saying that when I have that max level of confidence, those plays are worth taking no matter the odds. At least for me.
