In the works: carry systems for ShellRaisers. I am considering tweaks to the design for upcoming batches. Right now there’s a cresting wave feature to assist with sheath retention. Always enjoyed “The Great Wave off Kanagawa,” and so I leaned into the claw wave aesthetics on our first batch of ShellRaiser sheaths, but may go for a more aggressive style on an overhauled design.

Brain damage too. Had an alcoholic acquaintance that’s in his mid 40’s, and over a year ago myself and others would find him repeatedly lying, but a number of untrue statements didn’t make sense to even lie about. Easily verified as untrue. Then a good friend of mine related a legal struggle he was having with a former business partner, also an alcoholic. It went into arbitration and this person also made several untrue statements that were easily refuted by records on hand. Turns out there’s a specific brain disorder related to alcohol abuse. The short term memory isn’t working properly so the brain invents information to fill the gaps. This occurs when the alcoholic is completely sober. By normal observation, the person appears to be lying—A LOT. But it’s all brain problems, and completely destroys the person’s credibility.

ALCOHOL: When you drink alcohol to intoxication at least five days a week, 99% of your doctor visits, ER trips, and ailments will eventually be directly or indirectly related to the alcohol use. You will also become very good at excuse-making, building walls that protect your behavior, expressing anger as a way to shut others down, and eventually isolating yourself from friends and family that bring it up. There are no exceptions. Your organs and body will bear scars. People will stand over your casket and say "Such a shame" and then feel bad because they couldve done something, and then someone will put their hand on the persons shoulder and say "It's not your fault". They will walk away from the cemetery with a tear after they say goodbye. The next morning they will see your stuff, your pics, your facebook and social media, and mumble under your breath "what a waste".

A new batch of Damascus Quills is in the works. Pictured are our previous batch created from approximately 80 layers of 1095 and 15N20 steel. This next batch we are using a much lower layer count to hopefully achieve greater visual impact on the Quill’s limited surface area.

@BhavanChand Eventually AI augmented fraudsters will saturate all comms, kinda like how the lion’s share of email traffic is spam or scams. I could see a future where in-person communication increases because it verifies who you are talking to.

I have been observing that people above 50 always want you to meet them in person for even simple 2 minute tasks These things can be easily sorted out over a 2 minute call or a few whatsapp messages But they prefer to meet and discuss in person
