@Genki_JPN a Fortnite collab would be a great way to introduce most of these characters to a younger audience Square Enix only collabed with Fortnite once and that was when they owned Tomb Raider and with the leaks of a Kingdom Hearts collab coming would be perfect to add a FF collab.

It’s a tough one to remedy but one of my suggestions to appeal to a younger audience would be putting Final Fantasy characters everywhere. Square have been very stingy with licensing out their characters, although it is improving with things like MTG. But put FF characters in Fortnite, allow other companies to make FF figures, make a FF7 anime etc. Many young people only know Cloud from Smash Bros. I think they should make the characters more visible to a wider audience IMO.

@ShiinaBR In regards to Overwatch being part of the pass might have been considered but passed on in favor of Looney Tunes which fits the rivalry theme better as Tracer doesn’t have a main rival like Bugs cuz every Season 2 since Chapter 4 has only had 1 collab in its pass.

Let's talk Fortnite x Overwatch: I assume this post will be a bit longer than usual, so I'll get the most important stuff out of the way: Yes, it's still real - but it looks like it may have been delayed? In private, people have some question marks about the collab, and I want to fill you in because I leaked that this collab would drop "within 3 months", and that time frame is now about to pass. First of all, why was it leaked to drop within this time frame? At the time it was leaked, multiple reliable sources and leakers had heard about this collaboration. I won't go too much into detail to avoid getting anyone in trouble, but one source gave me correct information on various collabs I publicly leaked in Late 2025 and Early 2026, and every single one of those turned out to be real and has already been added to the game. The Overwatch collab is the *only* one that has yet to be added - maybe indicating a delay. The source also told me the exact skins we would get in Fortnite, and other independent sources (including other leakers) verified these, adding further credibility to this source and the leak. Another leaker posted that Tracer would be part of the Battle Pass, and another person we all used to know until a while ago also said the same thing about the collab being part of the Battle Pass. This obviously didn't happen, and people started speculating whether she (Tracer) was swapped out of the Battle Pass. I don't have an answer to that, since I never had a deep conversation about a Battle Pass tie-in with my sources. What now: I'll keep you updated once I hear actual new information about this collaboration. I don't believe this collab would get canceled because of leaks, but rather it seems to have been pushed back or was never intended for Battle Pass integration (or was *mistaken* for a Battle Pass collab, as it might play another part later this season). I will keep you posted.

It’s already 12:30am on March 24th, 2026 in Japan, and Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is not available for play yet. I assume this means the game will go live sometime later during the morning or noon in Japan? This is what the loading screen looks like!

@shoyeerr @Sonic_X_Fort They gave Bleach characters LEGO so it could work but I don’t think this collab is Bayblade as some leakers think it’s a separate collab. Personally I think it’s Blue Exorcist as the pickaxe is curved and has blue flame effect and the Kurikara matches the texture description.
