@RemapRadio at Tullamarine (Naarm, Aus’ international airport) you can ask security for your cars location, and they use the CCTV footage and licence plate recognition to locate and tell you where to find your car. Super useful! They have intercoms around specifically for this.

Maybe that’s doing the winter feast dirty. It’s nice to see humans get together. Fire is always thrilling. It does look cool. But there just doesn’t feel anything particularly pagan or communal or innovative about micro-breweries and food trucks lit up in red.

There is something very Web 3.0 about Dark Mofo’s Winter Feast. Strong aesthetic, “cool” people are into it, they both commodify something good that humans do (art, food).

It seems there’s a major crash in crypto markets happening. During wider market crashes, the sensible FIRE investor logic is typically you should buy. ETF’s experiencing a crash means you can buy them at a discount, as long as you trust the market to bounce back.

If you want to stretch your user-interface programming muslces, I think they're a fun challenge! With just the right amount of effort, frustration and reward. lol

Absolutely pulled my hair out on number 3, because I forgot to add a formatter as a parameter that compared dates. But! Through that process I aquainted mself with VS Code's breakpoints debugger, explored the parent Classes, and learnt more about try_catch!

I started the 7GUI's challenge last night, because I've been learning JFrame anyway, and it seemed a bit of fun. eugenkiss.github.io/7guis/tasks/ I think they're a brilliant little exercise. I see why they're so recommended.
