During wider market crashes, the sensible FIRE investor logic is typically you should buy. ETF’s experiencing a crash means you can buy them at a discount, as long as you trust the market to bounce back.

Absolutely pulled my hair out on number 3, because I forgot to add a formatter as a parameter that compared dates.
But! Through that process I aquainted mself with VS Code's breakpoints debugger, explored the parent Classes, and learnt more about try_catch!
