@Jomboy_ Every big leaguer is advancing to 3rd on Jazz's hit. Scheumann did nothing. This tweet should have been showing Volpe some love instead.

Please don’t forget Scheumann getting put in the game and making things happen instantly. It’s simply what he does.

Dear @Reds, please don't postpone today's game. I need this game to count and get a win for MLB survivor. Thank you for considering this important matter.

@WinningBetsPod @TalkinYanks Yeah, but having a slower runner on the bases is always better than having a fast one that’s why he did that

Gerrit Cole was a big fan of this heads up defense from Jazz Chisholm Jr.

In-person wagering sounds like a good idea, but who the hell needs it? Pretty inconvenient to me when it’s on my phone. And I have to talk to someone. Always heard that 95% of betting is mobile and that seems light. Maybe they’ll open a place in Wrigleyville that you can walk in with your kids after a Friday game. Crazy thought.

JUST IN: DraftKings is SHUTTING DOWN its sportsbook operation at Wrigley Field after just two years. The company says increased Illinois wagering taxes are to blame for the closure. In a statement published by the @ChicagoTribune, DraftKings said: “DraftKings has made the decision to discontinue onsite sportsbook operations at DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field following a review of our retail presence in Illinois. The venue itself will remain open, but in-person sports betting will no longer be offered at the location. While we are proud of what we have built alongside the Chicago Cubs, we are taking a more focused approach to where we invest in the state. The cost of operating in Illinois, including its high tax structure, makes it more difficult to justify continued investment in a standalone retail sportsbook.” The last day to place a wager at the sportsbook will be May 31.
