I had an exciting journey leading at @ReliAfrica. We all have a responsibility in the spaces we work, to contribute to the common good. As we strive towards a world where all children have the foundations for life long learning, collaboration is key!

📢 Read our new blog “Bridging the Gap: How Targeted Learning Reaches Children from All Households” The #MyVillage project’s core intervention is a series of accelerated learning camps, where children are grouped according to their learning proficiency and receive targeted lessons that meet them precisely where they are in their learning journey, regardless of their age or grade. The blog by @WinnyCherotich highlights findings from the impact evaluation of Phase 2 of the #MyVillage project, implemented in Tanzania and Nepal. Across both countries, #MyVillage learning camps were associated with significant and substantial gains in foundational skills. This blog explores how targeted, level-based instruction drives meaningful learning gains, and how this approach can be adapted to fit diverse socio-economic contexts. 👉 Full blog here: palnetwork.org/bridging-the-g…

Leadership from the frontlines ✨ When Dr. Felipe Hevia, the co-director of PAL Network member organisation, @MedirAprender (Mexico), stepped into the shoes of a volunteer, attending training and going door-to-door to assess children, he embodied the very heart of the citizen-led movement. His story reminds us that true leadership in education is not only about policies and papers, but about humility, action, and standing side by side with communities. 📖 Read @WinnyCherotich’s blog: "Leading from the Front: The Story of Felipe and the Foundational Learning Movement" 👉 palnetwork.org/leading-from-t… #LiteracyDay #DataForFoundationalLearning #CitizenLed #PALNetwork

Our latest newsletter is here - In this edition, we showcase how community-driven solutions and data are creating powerful, sustainable change in education systems across the globe. My Village Approach: Implemented in 339 villages across Kenya, Tanzania, and Nepal, My Village ensures that all children achieve basic reading and math skills. Through learning camps, parental involvement, life skills sessions, and local libraries, we’re building holistic learning ecosystems. Data in the Hands of Teachers – Zizi Afrique and CEMASTEA in Kenya are empowering teachers with actionable data to improve classroom learning. Joyful Classrooms through Teacher Training – GLOT’s inclusive teacher development programs are creating scalable models for early literacy.
