This story of the review PR in claude code > Identified critical ci error there is double .exe in the generated artifact > fix it > There is no double .exe bug here. The review was wrong on that point > -$15

@claudeai Impressive but none of this is really new. If only there was a way we could run applications as servers during development to see how our code is holding up .... wait, that's just like, how development works. More fear mongering + prolonging the bubble. Zzz

@onmoron1 @YanikStudios @Loomopolis @st4rcannon And that inspiration is part of why art becomes good. An actor or director or artist or musician being so inspired by a piece of work as a child or going through something that they then pursue said artform makes that inspired art much more meaningful than AI's predictive slop

@HromDrom @Loomopolis @st4rcannon And they can only mimic it because the animators took so much money and time. If they never made Arcane this video would be in the style of Spider-Verse or Illumination or Pixar because they guy said 'make it like this' AI isn't creating or doing anything impressive here

@Loomopolis @st4rcannon This worked maybe like a year ago, this is objectively better than what vast majority of animators could achieve for fraction of the time. Arcane took so much money and time the second season even flopped financially last I checked, now every shitposter can mimic it in minutes.

Talked with a senior engineer who's been coding for 15 years. Loved the craft, mentored juniors, built systems from scratch. Just quit. Here's what broke him: His entire job became prompting AI and reviewing generated code. The actual engineering, the part he loved, disappeared.

@ishaansehgal I know people whose whole career identity - somewhat - is built around their extreme technical knowledge of languages and frameworks; knowledge that has been built over the course of decades. Crazy to me that in the space of a month all of it has become basically irrelevant now.

@TheJennyAI @kimmonismus When the guy with the highest stakes in the shit race says that his shit is winning, it's not hype. It's a warning that the world is changing. Yeah sure

@kimmonismus "50% chance in 2-3 years" When the co-founder of Anthropic gives a timeline like this, it's not hype. It's a warning to start adapting now.

the technology has hit a dead end. it hasn't meaningfully changed in 3 years. it's just as inaccurate. it's maximum potential is personal use and despite every dollar and unit of energy (human and physical) going into it in those years, only 12% of people report using it daily
Joe Weisenthal@TheStalwart

@theshadowofbong Everyone needs to seek truth from facts here. This was @edzitron's argument last year, that the tech was hitting a dead end. Don't lie about the extent of the argument.

@GeorgeMayer @deepfates This is absolute nonsense and grift. There is no single way an org of anthropics scale developed, tested and released a production application that isn't a todo list in a week and a half. Either this is slop that doesn't work at all. Or they're being paid to hype Claude code.
