Samford is facing an issue. And it goes beyond basketball. I cannot pinpoint the reason but Samford students and alumni have no passion for the school and its success. I hear countless stories on how Samford impacted so many people’s lives and yet they respond with nothing. 1/5

@furmansuggs @furmansuggs all of these are valid we notice it in football as players some games there are high energy.Some games not so much.I stated earlier that only time there was okay crowd energy was maybe on homecoming some type of special weekend.

@jampete7370 @furmansuggs As someone who has just recently graduated and played football for 4 years at samford I 100% agree.There has been a times where I can truly say that games have been packed but not because it was a football but because it was family weekend or HC.

@furmansuggs I am an alum (‘95) and played football at SU for five seasons. Super grateful for the opportunity! However, it was the same thing then as it is now. I don’t think that a school that takes something as seriously as Step Sing has the capacity to be super crazy about their sports.
