Congratulations to these outstanding students! To qualify for the DMACC Dean's List, students must complete at least six credit hours per term and achieve a 3.50 - 3.99 GPA, while those with a 4.0 GPA are placed on the DMACC President's List 📚

🌟 Hope’s Teacher of the Week: Ms. Cahalan! 🌟 Ms. Cahalan’s students stated she makes school fun, welcoming, and exciting. Her energy, kindness, and high expectations help keep everyone accountable and motivated. She always makes students feel supported and included.

🌟 Hero’s Teacher of the Week: Mr. Schiefelbein! 🌟 Mr. Schiefelbein’s students stated that he is an incredible teacher. They said his classes are engaging and valuable because they teach them not only about the shop, but also important life lessons that help them grow.

🌟 Hero’s Teacher of the Week: Mr. Eckles! 🌟 Mr. Eckles’ students say he is understanding and someone who can relate to them in so many ways. He makes every student feel seen and valued. Students appreciate how he takes the time to truly listen, connect, and make them smile.

🌟 Hope’s Teacher of the Week: Mrs. St John! 🌟 Mrs. St. John’s students stated that she is kind, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. They appreciate that she actually teaches the material instead of just telling them what to do, making sure everyone understands.

Ms. Cahalan's Geography class was able to Zoom with her adopted uncle (Lansana), who is currently in Africa. The students got to ask him questions about life in Africa and see the area where he was living in Sierra Leone.

Our foreign exchange students had a great time last week as they shared about their country and culture with the Progressive Learning Club! 🇲🇳🇹🇷🇸🇷

Yesterday all students attended a college, career, and job fair in the gym. After seeing the 55+ booths, students went to their chosen breakout sessions in classrooms. We appreciate everyone who made the day a success! #wintersethuskypride *other photos on WCSD page

🌟 Hope’s Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Davenport! 🌟 Mrs. Davenport’s students stated that she is a great teacher who understands people and makes learning fun! She helps them a lot and stays optimistic every day. She’s kind, helpful, and is always ready to support every student.

🌟 Hero’s Teacher of the Week: Mr. DeBerg! 🌟 Mr. DeBerg’s students stated that he is supportive, funny, and encouraging. He pumps us up, pushes us to be better, and keeps things chill while still helping us succeed. He helps fix our form and plays great music.

Thanks to our counselors- during counseling week- for sharing the love with all of the staff! They delivered muffins to all. 💕
