India lost this game, but let me tell you a different story. Shubman Gill: 49 dot balls in 84 deliveries. Rohit Sharma: 51 dot balls in 110 deliveries. That’s 100 dot balls in 194 deliveries combined. Even if just 25% of those dots were converted into singles, this game could’ve had a different result. Yes, England’s 387 was too much and the bowling cost us dearly. But cricket is a game of margins. These small moments matter. We can appreciate the runs scored by the openers and still admit that they were too slow at the start. Both things can be true at the same time. The bowling attack was inexperienced. The openers weren’t. A little more intent at the start, a few more singles, slightly better bowling, and India could’ve won this game.

Apart from seeing the same issues even today, I have come across several accounts complaining that X has unilaterally paused or removed them from the Creator Revenue Sharing program. What is even more frustrating is that many of their appeals appear to receive nothing more than automated email responses. This has only strengthened my decision. Why should I invest my time and effort into a platform where the future of monetization feels so uncertain? Instead, I believe it would be wiser to start a Hindi cricket YouTube channel, where the monetization criteria are transparent and the rules are far more predictable. Considering the limited reach I have been getting despite consistently posting quality cricket content, and after seeing the frustration expressed by creators who were already monetized, I have decided that I will not renew my X Premium subscription next month. I won't even wait until 15th August, as I don't see any reason to spend another ₹500 on something that currently offers me so little confidence. One thing, however, will remain unchanged: Wisdom of Cricket will continue to share its views on the game. The difference is that I will do so without chasing reach or expecting monetization. My focus will now shift towards building a Hindi cricket YouTube channel, where I can create in-depth, analytical content for the long term.

When my reach was great, I wasn’t getting premium followers. Now, over the last three days, I've gained 17 premium followers, but my reach has tanked. After thinking it over all day, I’ve set a hard deadline: August 15th. If I am not monetized by then, I’m canceling my X Premium subscription, likely for good. That would be my third failed attempt.

IMHO, Jonathan Trott is the best choice for the next England Test coach. Local guy, proper Test match player in his days, passionate about his cricket and his national team, plus he knows a thing or two about coaching as well.
