That’s how swiftly police should take action!
On April 19th, a woman and her friends were followed and harassed by two men on a bike near Versova Beach around 8:30 PM.
Despite being recorded, the accused continued making vulgar gestures and staring with zero fear.
After she posted the video on April 20th tagging @MumbaiPolice, the response was immediate.
Just two days later, an apology video was received from the accused, who admitted to being under the influence and expressed deep regret for his "hateful act".
He has promised to never harass anyone again and confirmed that police have taken strict action.
Good job @MumbaiPolice for proving that no one is above the law and for making our streets feel safer!

The annual fee for morning walkers at Mumbai's Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) has been increased from Rs 383 to Rs 10,000.

I want to let you know that I'm fine and I appreciate the concern. That day, on April 21, I dropped my daughter off for her music class at four. I was meant to pick her up at 4.45. When I took a left turn from Mahindra Taj, we got stuck in a jam there. I was in my car for 25 minutes. When the traffic did not move, I got out to find out what the problem was. For the next one and a half hours, I went to every single police officer there to request that if you get the two buses removed, people who are stuck, we can make a U-turn and join the main road. I received no reaction, no response. I did not throw that bottle towards any protester or rally, but on the ground to attract the attention of the police... Mr Mahajan was actually the only person in that rally who at least tried to listen to what I was saying.
