But the physical books are $13 dollars now... and the ebooks are now $8.
I have plenty of books to read at home, and the library is free. But it would have been nice to get a lot for $8.

But my job is the reason I have everything I need, and a little extra. It be at least 10 years before writing can provide the same. (If I'm lucky.)

Today, for the first time in a while, I hung up my quill pen (...my laptop just doesn't sound as sexy) and returned to my day job.
It honestly was nice in some ways to be plumbing again. But I'm going to miss the time I had to write.

My coworker is giving up sweets for lent. I am not religious, but she asked me to participate in the 40 day ritual.
Coffee would be too hard. I drink it on the weekends too.... it helps be exist.
I decided Twitter was thing I'm going to give up. Only a couple hours left.

@_sorrengailll Tried it once. Took 30 minutes and I didn't like the way I looked.
Is it a skill that I could get better at, over time? Yes.
Is it worth the time and effort to me to learn the skill? No.
If I want to look nice for an event, I can pay a makeup artist.

@brclothwrites I had abdomen surgery once. My 65+ year old grandparent had to help me carry my laptop up to the bedroom.
A laptop... because I couldn't bend over to unplug it, and needed both hands to get upstairs.

If you own a business, let this advice be the first grounded thing you read about openclaw (read: clawd bot, molten bot, the thing people are buying Mac minis and bragging about and trying to sell skills (read as default settings) blah blah it all seems like bullshit): It’s not bullshit. It’s not hype. I gain nothing from telling you that if you install openclaw on a computer and link it to a AI api source… …you will have something very capable of knocking out various things you didn’t know you could even delegate until your creative juices get flowing. This isn’t NTFs, web3, insert whatever hype or faze that comes to mind since you’ve been on this platform. This is a helpful assistant that can work on a Mac device and do very capable things and text you progress updates. You could text this thing for a week about ideas you have for an in house CRM and it could build it for you. The second week it will build you the iOS app for the CRM. The third week it will build you the AI phone agent for after hours. Creativity, consistency and time is all you need at this point. Use Claude to explain to you want openclaw is and how to set it up. You’re welcome.

People think A.I. agents are what’s going to get them ahead, but most people don’t have their agents doing anything all that useful.
The key is the strategy not the worker (human or agent).
