Obviously adaptable having achieved success with more than one partner, he made the technically complex sport look easy and effortless. A natural and elegant player with amazing anticipation, especially at the net. He had great deception due to his relaxed hitting technique, and astute awareness of where to place the shot, making him tactically clever and wise. He appeared calm and nerveless, yet resilient and reliable when under pressure. And he always displayed great sportsmanship, humble in victory, yet generous in defeat. In other words, he was 🇭 Humble 🇪 Elegant 🇳 Nerveless 🇩 Deceptive 🇷 Reliable 🇦 Astute 🇸 Sporting 🇪 Effortless 🇹 Tactical 🇮 Inspirational 🇦 Amazing Anticipation 🇼 Wise 🇦 Adaptable 🇳 Natural I suppose all good things must come to an end, but anyone who’s witnessed Hendra’s ability on a #badminton court will miss him terribly, as it’s finally the end of a remarkable era.
