“Uniform” Civil Code but not actually uniform.
Gujarat brings UCC to override personal laws, mandates marriage registration, regulates live-ins, and sets strict legal rules… yet excludes SC/ST communities entirely.
If a law is truly about equality, why are entire groups kept outside its scope?
Either apply it to everyone, or stop calling it “uniform.”
