@ScottApogee @elgranqenk This was Rian Johnson's way of "subverting audience expectations," by taking a great steaming dump all over beloved characters and films, because you weren't expecting that, were you!? Expectations subverted.
English

@elgranqenk I give this scene endless disrespect. Such a total waste of Luke’s character. Such a weak ending to his life.
English

Luke murió para que la gente que ya estaba escapando, tenga 57 segundos más de tiempo para escapar. Uffff.
Esta escena no tiene el hate que merece solo porque el resto de la película es increíblemente peor.

Luke Skywalker’s stand on Crait in The Last Jedi (2017) had the whole theater locked.

@vitt2tsnoc God I fucking hate people. Can we find out who these retarded little pricks are? Find out their names and where they live, tell their families about them? I'd say find out where they work, but they have clearly never worked a day in their lives. I fucking hate people.

@ScottApogee @CuriosityonX Figure out how to fold 4d space and you don't need FTL
English

@ScottApogee @CuriosityonX Read somewhere that if an alien species could watch us from 2000 lightyears away, they'd see the Roman Empire.
English

Probably because FTL travel is not possible. And that means we're basically too far apart to visit each other. Some estimates say that there's likely only 1-5 rocket ship building species per galaxy, so while simple life is likely extremely common in the universe, technologically advanced life is perhaps extremely rare. And if light speed can't be broken or hacked in some way, we'll forever be isolated islands is the vast sea of space.

@CBR I wonder if this and that CBR article are an elaborate scheme in reverse psychology, subtly reminding us how absolutely stellar LOTR is? I doubt it, but still, food for thought.
English

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is an iconic film series, but it also has many elements that are difficult to watch in modern day. cbr.com/8-reasons-toug…

@AllOnFilm @CultureCrave He looks far too cool tbh 😂 I mean he looks absolutely fire yes, but Snape is neither cool nor fire.
English

@AllOnFilm @CultureCrave looks like a monkey/predator wearing a leather suit
English

@CultureCrave And in my opinion Essiedu is simply too good looking 😂 but I've seen this guy in many other things and he is super talented, I am actually excited to see what he does here, and nobody deserves the abuse he's gotten simply for getting the job. But, of all characters to raceswap?
English

@CultureCrave It is absolutely abhorrent that this guy has received death threats and abuse, that is disgusting. However James Potter is now a racist bully, Harry instinctively distrusts Snape, so is also racist, & defends his racist father even after discovering the real history between them.
English

@ScottApogee @TheCinesthetic I thought the first Star Trek with Pine and Quinto was a fun film in its own right and I still enjoy it, but it's definitely not a good Star Trek film.
English

@TheCinesthetic JJ screwed up Star Trek like he screwed up Star Wars. The Star Trek films are lame. His version of Kirk is nothing like the actual Kirk. And so many other mistakes in his Trek films.
English

@Milovxyvy @DiscussingFilm A bit of Punisher and Peter being absolutely miserable af, but yeah. I wonder how many of these things there are going to be. Again, I think the idea of putting the pieces together ourselves is interesting, but the gimmick is getting tired real quick.
English

@WithHair @DiscussingFilm And tbh these clips aren’t anything revealing… we still haven’t seen the villain, or hulk, or any action besides this clip right here…
English

@Milovxyvy @DiscussingFilm I think they're expecting us to put all the pieces together into the trailer itself which... interesting? I guess? But yeah just give us the trailer already stop messing with us. It looks fun though.
English

@DiscussingFilm Am I the only one getting kinda annoyed with this release thing they doing?
English

@ZTobias114838 @Variety You may be right. The guys are doing great at RiffTrax as it is. Still, they clearly want to do it for the love of it, they're not giving up RiffTrax any time soon, and much as I love their work their, I do miss the silhouettes and robot puppets.

The "Mystery Science Theater 3000" revival Kickstarter campaign has closed with a total of $2,695,849 from 22,189 backers.
