Ok, I'll bite - For a game that's made it 30 years, is super easy to learn, has high quality books and material, has a ton of highly popular IP's and a million smaller ones........ Why doesn't Savage Worlds get much love? Outside of core players, I rarely ever hear of it. 🤷‍♂️🤔

The Trinity is not Christian! Honestly though, I don’t care about the Trinity. Believing in the wrong metaphysical nature of Christ does not condemn you to eternal torture. But, okay trinitarians, I’ll play by YOUR rules. You started this fight by attacking us Mormons and calling us demonic. By YOUR standard, a Christian is someone who believes in the correct metaphysical nature of Jesus and NOT believing that Christ is the son of God and saviour of mankind and following his teachings. Well then, the trinity is NOT taught in the Bible. There is literally no place it says God and Jesus are the same "essence" or "substance", but multiple scriptures describing them as separate entities, ergo by your standard, the trinity is not Christian and YOU are NOT CHRISTIANS! Repent you demonic heretics! Is that mean? Am I being a meanie poo? That is exactly how many trinitarians treat Mormons. Maybe you shouldn’t throw stones from glass houses, hypocrites. We’d be much more effective in being brothers in Christ and fighting the true evils of this world together rather than fighting each other, but you guys attack us all the time, picking fights and starting beef when there was no need. Your doctrine is unbiblical, illogical, hypocritical, cruel, abominable, and you have perpetrated atrocities in the name of the trinity throughout history and we can EASILY prove it. Because when attacked again and again, eventually, we fight back.

Fighter is such a versatile class. For fun I make fighter characters that mimic other classes. With 5.5e you could take magic initiate of any spell class and make a hybrid spell sword. For example, I made a Viking fighter named DunGan. He comes across as a Barbarian. But instead of rage i conjure flames and roleplay it as him invoking his anger. It’s a pretty cool playstyle that is possible. Just modify your core stats to work with whatever you are going for.

When I first started playing D&D (1974) I thought it was lame and stupid to play a fighter. We're in a FANTASY game, I reasoned. I want MAGIC. So I always sought to be a magic-user or at worst a cleric. (Note: this was before thieves, paladins, druids, etc. got added.) Finally after a couple of years of play I got hoodwinked into being a fighter for a change. Man alive was that an eye-opener. Fighters were SO much more fun. No bookkeeping! No weapon or armor restrictions! I could shoot guys with a bow at first level! Non-magical armor was so cheap - a full suit of plate mail cost 50 gp!! Suddenly I was bumped up to AC 2 which was stellar compared to what the low-level monsters were. What a life.

I read the first hundred pages of The Road last year, and read the first hundred pages of Blood Meridian this year, and in both instances, gave up, because the books never clicked. Lyrical writing, but the characters are reduced to way down Maslow's hierarchy, and the tone is so relentlessly bleak, with almost no humanity breaking through, it was difficult to feel anything besides the flint clicking against the cold steel in the overwhelming darkness. I know many of you love it, but to me, it's overwrought, overstylized, and overhyped.
