@QC_MellaYella @MagicMarkee Agreed. Coby is a dog. In our particular situation (Magic), we just don’t really have the assets and capital to be thrown around since we have some big contracts kicking in. That’s why I don’t understand why my fan base is insisting we should’ve gone for him.

@WithTheH_ @MagicMarkee I think so. Melo is a turned ankle away from being on the shelf for weeks. Our team pre-Coby went from sugar to shit when Melo isn’t on the floor. Birds Rights will help space the money out. Hopefully him being from NC will help. Small market teams have to take chances.

@QC_MellaYella @MagicMarkee The problem is, Coby was due for a nice extension with the Bulls this offseason so he’d have to be willing to take a pay cut compared to what he would have gotten. Are the Hornets willing to dish big cash?
