76 affordable homes, including 30 for social rent are nearly complete by @SouthwayHousing at Didsbury Point. A new NHS GP practice has also been built as part of the developmemt too. Great support from @DebbieHilal and @Ben_WilliamsLab for new social housing in Didsbury.🏡

Great to visit these 8 new low carbon, social rent homes with @DebbieHilal in West Didsbury today. These have been built by @MyGreatPlace at their Rossett development on Palatine Road. Great to see local people now all moved in and enjoying their new home here in Didsbury.🏡🌹

@ChorltonLabour councillors were out and about in lovely sunshine over the weekend talking to residents on Ivy Green Road. Lots of positive feedback about the new bike hangars, and great to let people know that there are more to come.

We had our Keep Manchester Tidy litter pick and clean up event in Withington Village last Saturday with @ManCityCouncil and Withington Civic Society. Thanks to all who helped to keep our village clean and free from litter and show their love for Old Moat and Withington too.❤️♻️🐝

Pleased to move a motion on Standing up for Renters @ManCityCouncil today as the transformational Renters' Rights Act comes into force from 1st May 2026. Good to also answer questions on new social housing in Ancoats, West Didsbury, Higher Blackley, and at Wythenshawe Civic.🏡🌹

Brilliant to have Withington Library back open in the village after further investment by @ManCityCouncil in new windows and a low carbon heating system. Reopening event this Saturday with arts and crafts and lego club for children, and afternoon tea for families between 2-4pm.📚
