I went through this too! And I tried to make it fair and try to give everyone a chance at money and I was literally giving away so much money to people who felt entitled to it. And people being rude to me… over me giving away my money. All for fucking $5 lol I stopped doing that as often and it’s been so much better. The slots community has a ton of code beggar people and makes you think you have to give away money the whole stream in order to have viewers or engagement. But it doesn’t create an actual community and it’s hard to find the balance. Personally, I make boundaries and clear defined rules/amounts for slot calls so there’s no confusion and no telling me what to do etc. it’s an exhausting thing to repeat yourself and make boundaries, but the slots community is split between big streamers who don’t read chat and anyone smaller has to give away money to be relevant.
