That was nice too but not too pretty and the leadership we're going through is the reason foreign countries underrate Africans. may Allah help all muslims in the world and guide the wrong of us to his mercy
Elelu Ayoola@EleluAyoola

I went to a nearby shop to buy groceries wearing my usual house dress and hijab. After picking what I needed, I went to the counter to pay. As the shop owner calculated the bill and packed my items, he looked at me and asked the question I get all the time here in Kuwait. “Which country are you from?” Based on my skin color, people can immediately tell that I’m African, but they are always curious to know exactly where I’m from. Without hesitation I replied I’m from Nigeria 🇳🇬. Then came the one million dollar question. “What is your job?” I wasn’t offended because this is another question I get frequently. In many places once people know your country, the next thing they want to know is what brought you to Kuwait. I smiled and answered I’m a nurse. He looked at me again and said, “No, you are Khadama.” For those who may not know "Khadama" refers to domestic workers or house helpers in Kuwait. I have immense respect for these women because they are among the most hardworking people I have ever seen striving to earn an honest living. But I couldn’t help wondering what made him assume I was lying about being a nurse. I took my groceries and went home. The next day before heading to work, I stopped by the same shop this time in my full uniform, with my ID card clearly visible. Usually when I’m outside my workplace, I turn my ID around to hide my details. But on this occasion, I made sure my name, photo, and profession were on full display 😎. As soon as I entered we made eye contact, and just as I expected his eyes went straight to my ID card. At that moment I felt like the heroine in a superhero movie(lol). I smirked, walked to the fridge grabbed a chilled drink and went to the counter. As I paid, he asked, “Are you going to work?” I replied Yes 😌. It is fascinating and sometimes disappointing how some people even those who are not Kuwaiti themselves, find it difficult to believe that Africans can occupy professional and highly respected roles. I have never considered myself an exceptionally accomplished person, but I believe it is our responsibility to show the world that Africans are capable of excelling in any profession anywhere on this planet. We may travel across the world in search of better opportunities, but Nigeria will always be home. Homosexuality has been around for Centuries! In slavery the term “Buck Breaking” was the practice of using sexual violence & punishment for the slave men! Once a plantation owner violates the Black man he then turned around & used it as a way to Control the slave!! Before the slave was Sold off he would Sagg his pants to let the next Master know that the slave had already been broken in! This went on for Centuries! Once the slave was introduced to the Penitentiary’s & Jail houses the Warden would already know who was Buck Broken from the “SAGGIN”of the pants!! Some of the Jail wardens were Homosexual’s as well! “SAGGIN” is the derived from the (N) word Spelled Backwards! Many of Today’s Youths doesn’t fully understand the term “SAGGIN” but for those who does, they know that Saggin is an Invitation or an Expression that Hey I’m available!! Moral lesson: don't copy everything you see.

Mr Singh walks into a bank in London and asks to see the bank manager. He explains he's going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow £5000. The Manager says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so Mr Singh hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce, which costs quarter of a million pounds. “The car is parked on the street in front of the bank,” says Mr Singh, “and I have all the necessary papers.” The bank manager agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. After Mr Singh leaves, the manager, the bank's area manager and all their colleagues enjoy a good laugh at the man for using a £250,000 Rolls Royce as collateral against a £5,000 loan. One of the employees drives the Rolls into the bank's underground carpark and parks it there. Two weeks later, Mr Singh returns, repays the £5000 and the interest, which comes to £15.41. The manager says, "Sir, I must tell you, we’re all a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and discovered that you’re a multimillionaire. Why would you bother to borrow £5,000?" The man replies, "Where else in London can I park my car for two weeks for only £15.41?"

A teenage prodigy in quantum physics is aiming to tackle one of science’s biggest challenges: human aging. Laurent Simons earned his PhD in quantum physics from the University of Antwerp at just 15. Rather than slowing down, he has already begun a second doctorate, this time focusing on medical science and artificial intelligence. His long-term ambition is to better understand aging and disease, with the hope of helping extend healthy human lifespan. He has described death as a complex “puzzle,” made up of many interconnected pieces across biology, physics, and engineering. His strategy is to study these layers together, using AI to analyze biological systems and identify patterns that would be difficult to detect otherwise. Simons’ academic journey has been unusually fast. He completed high school by age 8, finished a bachelor’s degree at 12, and went on to earn both a master’s and PhD in quantum physics years ahead of typical timelines. His doctoral work explored advanced topics like Bose–Einstein condensates, where atoms behave as a single quantum system at extremely low temperatures. Although highly theoretical, this research underpins technologies such as quantum computing and precision measurement. Now, his focus is shifting toward biology and medicine. In AI-driven healthcare, researchers are already using machine learning to improve early disease detection, model protein structures, and accelerate drug development. In the field of aging, scientists are investigating ways to reduce cellular damage, eliminate dysfunctional cells, and better understand how the body changes over time. However, experts stress that “solving aging” is extraordinarily complex. While lifespan extension has been achieved in simple organisms, applying those findings to humans remains a major scientific hurdle. Simons himself acknowledges that meaningful progress could take decades. Even so, his path reflects a broader trend in science—where breakthroughs are increasingly happening at the intersection of disciplines, and younger researchers are setting ambitious, long-term goals. Learn more: "15-year-old genius sets his sights on solving human immortality." Brighter Side.
