Federal charges are not filed against a former president without the current presidents blessing. Far too political sensitive and precedent setting to be done without his approval.

The two most important issues over the past week were the failing Ukrainian counteroffensive and Biden arresting his chief political rival for crimes he committed himself. But the Besties didn’t want to talk about those topics so I used the time to write for @RStatecraft instead.

The judiciary sentences but does NOT arrest people & bring them into court rooms, they can summon citizens but they cannot detain and arrest people and file new charges
