I won’t tell Wizards fans to not get excited about the LeBron or Giannis reports. That’s what makes fandom fun.
But I will caution that those reports happen every offseason.
Sure, the Wizards have the money/assets to make those moves. But I highly doubt anything materializes.

@MarcWestyNolan @WizardsNextUp And it’s always the “defense wins you championship” guys dismissing the defensive savants. In the conference finals alone Chet hasn’t been great offensively but o know what he brings on the defensive end so I think he’s on of the better performers just off that

the individual defensive performances of Chet and Alex are not far off if you actually watch games 😭 Chet shines with a team full of defensive stars, looking at defensive ratings is a team metric and testament. @WizardsNextUp Chet Holmgreen is a 1st TEAM all-NBA defender and Alex Sarr is not. The gap between them on that end of the floor is wider than the Pacific Ocean. Fans might not care about defense, but the guys that vote on these things do because they know ball.
