@Wizebaba @chippercashapp Those guys are criminals, they deduct unnecessary charge from your account with no reasonable reason. I deactivated my account after numerous stock related charges even after complaining to the customer care.

A student once came to my office after missing 3 weeks of class. No apology, just calm.
He said, “Ma, I was going through a lot.”
I said okay, explain.
He opened his phone and showed me screenshots of a crypto group he had been following like it was a full-time job.
He looked up and added, “I thought I’d make money before returning.”
The silence that followed was doing more work than any lecture I’ve ever given.

Here’s a few reasons why:
Reasoning and explanation — They explain why rules matter, helping kids internalize values instead of obeying out of fear.
Warm, secure attachment — Responsive parenting builds trust, allowing children to regulate emotions safely.
Modeling self-control — Parents demonstrate calm problem-solving and responsibility, which kids imitate.
Clear, consistent boundaries with empathy — Firm rules enforced kindly provide structure without punishment.
Natural/logical consequences — Kids learn from real outcomes tied to their actions, building accountability.
Teaching skills directly — Coaching planning, time management, and impulse control through guidance.
High but supportive expectations — Standards are set with help to meet them, fostering competence.
Encouraging autonomy — Age-appropriate choices build self-efficacy and ownership.
Emotional coaching — Helping kids understand and manage feelings strengthens self-regulation.
Intrinsic motivation — Focus on personal value and satisfaction rather than external rewards/punishments.
Collaborative problem-solving — Working together on issues teaches critical thinking and responsibility.
Positive reinforcement — Celebrating effort encourages good habits without shame.
Gradual responsibility — Progressive chores and decisions build habits through practice.
Strong relationship — Warmth makes children more receptive to guidance and values.
Reduced fear/reactance — Less rebellion; kids cooperate because limits feel fair.

Do you guys know those parents who aren’t strict but somehow have really disciplined kids? 😩 What’s the science behind that?
