@DustyNewRose Yes! I remember those pieces of cake too, and they usually had a mouse or cat-sized crescent- shaped bite out of them by the end of the episode!!!

This just reminded me so much of watching Tom & Jerry as a kid. There always seemed to be a slice of leftover cake in the fridge in these cartoons and I remember being upset because our fridge never had (in my opinion) any interesting stuff in it.

The first few days after ⁦@moniackmhor⁩ are always difficult, though it did help (well, a bit) to find the garden had done this during my absence.

I'm very pleased to have a poem in Stepaway Magazine @StepAwayMag - it's in Issue 36 which is out today and it's called London Light. It's a great magazine -all about urban spaces and cities if you want to treat yourself to an interesting read! Big thanks to the editors.

Following the logic that frequently occurring injuries get their own name ('tennis elbow'), someone should come up with a medical term for grazing your knuckles on the (e.g. brick, rough-plastered) wall while carrying a laundry basket up the stairs.

I found this very measured and reassuring...if you have concerns about the vaccine you may find it helpful too.

Don’t know if it qualifies a lockdown dream (do they have to be about lockdown?), but between 6 and 7 this morning I was poring over shelves of second-hand books in Time Out’s offices looking for a book by David Bowie in Livres de Poche.
