Turned a small Accra routes dataset into a public transport navigation app. It maps trotro routes, shows stops along the way, and gives simple step-by-step directions for getting around the city. Got some more features to add to it though

There's no localized caller ID app for Ghana. The popular option is Truecaller, but it doesn't cover local numbers well. So I'm building one. WhoJustCalled. It'll use community-sourced data so when someone calls, you actually know who it is. Still early. But the need is real.

𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 On Thursday, 16 April 2026, @GhanaRevenue, in collaboration with @MoF_Ghana, convened a multi-party consultative meeting with representatives of the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), the Association of Customs House Agents Ghana (ACHAG), the Freight Forwarders Association of Ghana (FFAG), the Association of Customs Brokers (CUBAG), the Ship Owners and Agents Association of Ghana (SOAGG), the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), the Trade Advocacy Group Ghana, and the Exporters and Importers Association to address matters arising from the deployment of the Publican AI system in Customs Operations. The following outcomes were agreed: 1. Suspension of Industrial Action: The trade associations agreed to suspend, with immediate effect, the industrial action previously declared in relation to the Publican AI rollout. 2. Joint Business Committee Forum: The previously proposed Technical Committee has been reconstituted as a smaller, more operationally focused Joint Business Committee Forum. The Forum will develop and present its Terms of Reference for adoption. 3. 48-Hour Appeals Resolution Standard: All appeals lodged by importers, freight forwarders, and other affected operators are to be reviewed and resolved within a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours from submission. 4. Strengthening of Appeals Capacity: GRA will increase the number of officers assigned to the Appeals Unit to support this resolution standard. 5. Clarification on Vehicle Imports: Publican AI has not, at this stage, been extended to the processing of vehicle imports. Existing clearance procedures for vehicles therefore remain in force until further notice. 6. Resolution of Implementation Challenges: A definitive timeframe will be established for identifying and resolving outstanding implementation challenges, with progress updates to be tabled at subsequent meetings of the Joint Business Committee Forum. All parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued engagement in support of an efficient, transparent, and stakeholder-responsive customs administration. We welcome the outcomes of Thursday's consultative meeting and express our sincere appreciation to all participating trade associations and stakeholder groups for their willingness to engage constructively and in good faith. The decision to suspend industrial action and to establish a Joint Business Committee Forum reflects what the GRA has always believed: that the path to effective reform runs through dialogue, not around it. We recognise that the deployment of the Publican system has raised legitimate operational concerns around appeals turnaround, valuation processes, and the pace of adjustment required from the trading community. These concerns have been heard, and the outcomes agreed on Thursday represent concrete, time-bound commitments to address them. At the same time, the GRA wishes to reaffirm its mandate to collect the revenue that is due to the people of Ghana. The circumstances that necessitated the Publican system remain unchanged: over five years, under-declared imports cost the State more than GH₵11 billion in revenue - resources that should have funded roads, hospitals, schools, and the public services every Ghanaian depends on. In the weeks since deployment, the system has demonstrated its value, with Customs revenue increasing by 50% and three out of every four declarations clearing faster than before. Protecting national revenue and supporting legitimate trade are not competing objectives. They are the same objective, pursued together. The GRA is committed to both, and to pursuing them in a manner that is fair, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the trading community.

I just saw this video online. According to the story, the woman on the floor is dead, & the one standing is accused of being responsible. To prove her innocence, she was made to come for a ritual. The dead woman "resurrected", attacked the "witch" and died again. End.

The Islamic imam who put 1million naira to any Muslim that can behead a pastor for preaching Jesus has said: “…whoever carries out this job (of beheading the pastor), I swear to Allah I’ll give him one million naira. We have nothing to lose even if after beheading this pastor, the Arewa plunges into chaos, we have nothing to lose…” Dear @OfficialDSSNG @PoliceNG We know you will pretend not to see this. But we are bringing this to your attention again. There are Muslim clerics in northern Nigeria who are openly calling for the beheading of Christian pastors. Pls help retweet this for the world to see.

Post via @GhanaFunTube: @Gha_Immigration Service 🇬🇭 Kindly post officers at the Aflao border who speak Eʋe or are willing to learn it. Speaking Akan/Twi to locals in a way that makes them feel inferior is unacceptable. Respect the local culture or reassign officers elsewhere.

Thank you @mensaduncan for taking the time to engage with the detail. We understand that any significant reform raises questions and concerns, and not everyone will agree with every aspect of how this has been rolled out. We are listening, and we are refining. But GH₵11 billion lost to under-declared imports over five years is not a problem we can leave unaddressed. The early results — revenue up 50% in the first two weeks, three out of four declarations clearing with no issues — confirm that the direction is sound. We welcome scrutiny. It makes the process better. I encourage everyone to watch the full conversation with @benkoku and share their views. #GRA #GhanaFirst 🇬🇭

1. Shave your pubic hair regularly. Why are you keeping hair in your armpits and private areas? Where hair grows, you sweat more. Shave. 2. Change your underwear whenever you shower, or at least once every day. 3. Do not have unprotected sex with anyone whose sexual history you do not know. Show each other your test results before going down raw (if you must). 4. Change or wash your bedsheets at least every weekend. Sometimes the reason your skincare is not working is because your bedsheets are dirty. 5. As soon as you get home from anywhere, wash your hands before doing anything else. 6. Oral hygiene is very important. Brush your teeth, scrape your tongue, and floss at least once daily. If you can do it twice, even better. 7. Wash your butt crack properly. When you are in the shower, spread your butt cheeks and wash thoroughly. It is your body for crying out loud. 8. If you have genital appointment, two to three days beforehand, shave, eat fruits, drink enough water, wear deodorant, and wear clean underwear to the link up. They should naturally crave to eat you out because you smell so good. 9. Bathe twice daily, no matter what. If you go to the gym, bathe before and after your workout. It is non-negotiable. 10. After using the toilet, use water only or water with tissue paper to clean up. Do not use only tissue. 11. Wash your towel regularly. 12. Normalize sleeping naked. Let your private parts breathe.
