She submitted request after request to clean the "black mold" out. That's not how this works. So she snapped the door handle off. She paid for a new unit.

@GholaHenderson @toppuclabbu I manage a few hundred rental units. We have a $12,000 fridge/freezer in my office with a broken icemaker in it. We use ice trays. Good enough for me? Good enough for you. You will not win your dispute unless an icemaker is specified in your lease. End of story.

@GholaHenderson There are a few reasons "Ice Maker" could be an option on the app, ranging from nobody changing the defaults, to the reality that most tenants are retarded and a typical icemaker fix is to break up the clog of half-melted ice in the chute. Motor dead, though? No dice.

@WoWArenaAddict it's a feature of an appliance that was guaranteed in my lease that no longer works, well within the written guidelines for what is to be done by maintenance. our building's maintenance team responds to requests made on an app which has ice maker as a request option.

@TalkativeTri "Play" is doing a lot of work here. The first hour of my session in D4 was just watching cutscenes and walking to the next cutscene. There were a couple demons in the way, but was mostly just hands-off-keyboard time.

@Laganish Your gear gets thrown in the trash every 3 months as-is. It's all meaningless and the game has pivoted to be about collecting costumes and checking boxes on your list of appearances. All but Mythic Raiding is catered to solo play. Nobody is impressed with your IO score.

I have complicated feelings about this, if I'm honest an easier gearing cycle is probably better on average for more people with such a broad audience, but I worry about longevity in a "hold W for Myth gear from vault" simulator without effort, isn't it all a bit meaningless?

@pnickdurham Classic example of nerds "solving" problems on paper. In reality, walls aren't straight or plumb. Your average crew of human drywallers will be much, much faster than the robot and any losses to human laziness will be offset by the time it takes to lug your robot to next site.

342 skilled construction workers retire every day in the US. Use interior wall finishing as an example, you can't just hand someone a trowel and get a Level 5 wall finish. It takes years to develop that skill. This is Okibo's fully autonomous interior finishing robot that does drywall mudding, joint taping, sanding (Level 4 and 5 finishes), and spray and roller painting (the video is a sanding pass). It can reach up to 24' so it's designed for high reach in large industrial spaces (data centers, commercial, offsite manufacturing). You just swap the toolhead for a different finish application. It's an autonomous operation, vision scans the path and starts, there’s one operator overseeing the work and changing tool heads when needed. Today, it can produce 6,000 sqft/day (up to 8-10x more productive depending on the space).

THANKS STUPID REPUBLICANS: In an effort to try and ban transgendered Americans from entering the restroom of the sex they ID with, Missouri has just banned parents of the opposite sex from taking their children into the restrooms with them, meaning that parents who want to protect their children will now not be able to. This new Bill that Passed would mean: a) A young daughter entering a men’s restroom with her father would violate it, because she is not male; b) A young son entering the women's restroom with their mother would be breaking the law
