The first ZAP test auction has successfully concluded, with 158 bids competing on equal terms and the market discovering a final price of 0.58 USDC and raising 360.66K USDC. As the Zealous ecosystem moves beyond launch and into long-term execution, here’s what ZEAL holders can expect going forward. As Zealous Swap usage grows, we are preparing the introduction of recurring ZEAL buybacks funded directly from DEX generated revenue. Our objective is to allocate a small portion of protocol revenue for periodic buybacks, with the acquired ZEAL permanently burned. While the exact percentage will remain adaptive to real protocol performance, our internal target is to operate in the low single digit range, ensuring the mechanism scales responsibly alongside actual usage. Regarding the Zealous Membership system, the structure is simple. All revenue generated from memberships is denominated in ZEAL, and 100% of that ZEAL is intended to be burned. This creates a direct and verifiable link between ecosystem participation and circulating supply reduction, with no redistribution mechanics involved. On the emissions side, we are making a concrete adjustment to ZEAL distribution. Emissions coming from the Infinity Pool and Farms will be reduced, extending the emission schedule from the originally modeled 7–9 year range to a more conservative 9–12 year range. This approach lowers annual inflation and smooths distribution pressure, while still aligning incentives for liquidity providers, stakers, and long term participants with the continued growth of the protocol. As the ecosystem progresses and after the IGRA mainnet is live, we intend to work toward a CoinMarketCap listing when timing and fundamentals are appropriate. At the same time, additional ZEAL utility will continue to be introduced. New use cases will roll out progressively as protocol components across the Zealous ecosystem go live, ensuring every layer of ZEAL utility is tied to real demand and real protocol activity. These are not abstract ideas or long term theories. You should expect to see these changes and mechanisms implemented gradually in the near future as the ecosystem continues to scale.

From day one, ZEAL has been an L2-first token. All of its real benefits, utility, and long-term value live on Kaspa L2s through Zealous Swap, ZAP, protocol usage, and on-chain participation. That’s where ZEAL is designed to be used. Over time, we’ve seen that maintaining an L1 listing on MEXC introduces unnecessary friction for ZEAL holders. Users who acquire ZEAL on L1 still need to bridge to Kaspa L2 to access any of the token’s actual functionality. In practice, this also means ongoing operational effort and liquidity management are being allocated to an environment that doesn’t translate into real L2 usage or long-term value for the ecosystem. Rather than spreading resources across venues that don’t reflect how ZEAL is designed to be used, we’re choosing to concentrate them where ZEAL is actively used and creates real value. Rather than supporting an environment that doesn’t reflect how ZEAL is meant to work, we’re choosing to align liquidity and focus directly with the L2. Going forward, our priorities are clear: - ZEAL usage and activity on Kaspa L2s - Liquidity focused where the token’s L2 utility exists - ⁠Delisting ZEAL from MEXC - Future listings that are L2-aligned In parallel, we’re actively working on strengthening ZEAL’s token economics, including: - Reducing ZEAL inflation - Designing a sustainable burn mechanism - Adding more direct utility and demand drivers for the ZEAL token ZEAL is infrastructure-driven. Our focus is on long-term utility, real on-chain usage, and sustainable growth, rather than maintaining exposure in environments that don’t reflect the token’s design. More updates soon.
