@Ty4EverMe @byBDavis The difference is if dawn had acted that way both sides would be calling her out see black people don’t have an issue holding other black people accountable when they are clearly wrong some whites lack this ability

@WokeandPresent @byBDavis I have seen fans of both races defend and condemn Geno's actions. The only difference is who they are a fan of. Did I say race is never a factor? No, but race is not always a factor unless you make it that way. You are allowing yourself to think exactly how a racist would want.

Not defending Geno by any stretch but ESPN showed the scorer’s table video of him waiting on Dawn after the player intros, as is custom. That’s what he’s referring to, where he stood there for nothing (getting his ego hurt, probably). Still, c’mon Geno. Ridiculous.

@SEisbergWCIV Some Whites will always try to defend other whites no matter the circumstances 🤦 shouldn’t matter what she said there was not a technical issued to either coach… why is a man coaching in women’s sports I thought we wanted men out of women athletics 🤔

I do kind of want to know what kind of names Dawn Staley calls the refs in all fairness here.

@WokeandPresent @byBDavis This is not a Black/White thing. This is a UCon fans/rest of the country thing. Only a Ucon fan can justify this in their head.

@SNYUConn That makes no sense b/c that means mid majors will get more talented high school players and even some extremely talented high school players mid majors will be a farm system for majors high school athletes will still have opportunities

"The portal and the revenue share, I think that was the death of the mid-majors." Geno Auriemma talks about the struggles of mid-majors in the NCAA Tournament and how bigger programs use the transfer portal to get players from smaller schools:

This just keeps getting better and better. Scroll back through my timeline & listen to Strong’s explanation, & then listen to his answer when confronted w the 2 conflicting statements. #GenoAuriemma squirming like a worm in hot ashes and defiant to admit when he’s wrong. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Geno Auriemma, on moment in 2nd quarter where he complained to officials about Dawn Staley’s language “I just wanna make sure there’s not a double-standard. I’m of the opinion if I ever talked to an official like that, I would get tossed…Some people are allowed to talk to officials like that and others people are not”

@WokeandPresent @js_ace_football @rolandsmartin @realDonaldTrump Carson Beck said on national TV 2 months ago that he hasent taken one college class in 3 years, at two schools lol. He laughed. What about the highschool kids. That want a shot and are young. These guys are in college or they aren’t.

Let me be clear: @realDonaldTrump’s executive order limiting how long athletes can play in college and limiting transfers is 100% UNCONSTITUTIONAL. This executive order will be immediately sued in court. This is a joke. And it’s pathetic.

@SNYUConn Geno has never been and never will be a poor sport, however, Staley has been known to play a certain card if things didn’t go her way. SC won with the help of the refs. and the bricks UConn was throwing. Congrats to them.

If you’re an athlete restricted from transferring because of an expected executive order, then feel free to reach out. We will seek emergency relief, as it is an illegal restraint, and will communicate with attorneys general to support such efforts.

@espn Why not limit how many times schools can buyout coaching contracts or except buyouts for their current coach…. Why not limit how much money each institution can make off of their athletic program… Why are all the restrictions placed on the student athlete

President Trump's order intends to limit athlete transfer movement, cap player eligibility, require funding requirements for women and Olympic sports, and regulate NIL collectives, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger. As an enforcement lever, past iterations of the order relied on the reduction of a university’s federal funding — an incentive for schools and conferences to abide by the concepts.
