I've been a huge critic of the entertainment value of the top level of football, but blimey I'm so glad I watched that. Truly a World Cup classic, England's second best ever World Cup team as only the 1966 team finished higher than 3rd. What a Game!

So those are my expectations. To play nice football, improve in the league, and maximise the potential from our cup runs. If all three of those happen, I'll be more than satisfied come May 2027. I'm confident in our squad's abilities to reach these goals, so let's wait and see.

Even the National League Cup... Yes it's a second rate competition but I want us to build a winning culture, and to win any trophy would be great for the club and everyone associated with it. So I'd like us to put more emphasis on that, especially if we reach the knockouts.
