If I were to back up a refrigerator into a doorway to the outside and leave the door open. Leaving aside matters of egress, it would totally function as an air conditioner, would it not? @andreamatranga

Anyway, if the city is looking to close illegal vape shops and can't do so because they don't have the authority to police marijuana, they could always bust them for bootleg cigarettes. Added benefit is it might help my law-abiding tax-paying bodega stay open.

Because of crime / fewer people out at night, my bodega is no longer 24/7 (nor my ATM). So a friend went to a vape shop to buy cigarettes. She told me the pack was $5 cheaper than normal. "Let me see that," I said. Virginia tax stamp. Not for sale in NYC. Why am I not surprised?

The old wiring - i found this box buried in the ceiling with no access. Lighting and receptacle power for the whole floor ran thru this box.
