The only person saying anyone HAS to do anything is the guy saying everyone has to accept the (bad) apology.

I will be returning the money and making a full apology" Instead he tried to deflect some of the blame to others by blaming their perception of his actions. It's a shitty insincere apology.

Not sure what else he can do but to be honest his biggest mistake was even attempting to apologise because a Twitter mob do not want nor will they accept an apology.
