@yicker @SilversRef Wigan do have a lot of players from outside Wigan in their academy. My club Leeds are the same. If other clubs invest more and offer opportunities that will change.Wakey are serious about their academy, they signed up Bastian to run it and he’s one of the best in the business.

Another example of why our game is failing. Not just salary cap issues. NRL has thriving competitions under the first team. We have to ship out players just to get a game. There has to be a strong pathway where we don’t have to ship players out. Treated like pieces of meat
