@bvb030 The game is different now. Injuries are way more frequent because of the speed. They need to adjust the rule. But I'm biased. I voted Embiid ROY because he was 3X better than any other rookie and he only played 31 games so people thought I was insane.

@WolstatSun No it doesnt. In what world do people get rewarded for missing a quarter of a years work. Does it suck sometimes our favorite player doesnt get awards sure but at the end of the day we should be rewarding those that handled the grind and made it through a year while producing.

The rule needs to be changed. He’s had an All NBA season again and would have been on plenty of MVP ballots.

Cunningham has 60 qualified games played and is currently short of the All-NBA criteria. The Pistons have 14 games remaining. Cunningham earned All-NBA last season and as a result, saw his rookie max extension increase from $222M to $269M.

Also, I singled out Durant, but LeBron is four years older and threw down 6 dunks last night. Bron is about to pass Robert Parish in games played. Parish seemed like a mummy the last 5 years of his career (like Raptors Hakeem). LeBron is still doing LeBron things. Wild.

Wol-stat of the day: Brandon Ingram, long maligned for a seemingly endless number of injuries during his career, is 11th in minutes played this NBA season, four behind Raptors teammate Scottie Barnes. Remarkably ageless Kevin Durant is second. Canadian Jamal Murray is 8th.

Jokic can only miss 1 more game to qualify, Wembanyama 2, SGA and Luka 5 each, Kawhi 2, Maxey needs to return, play 4 (will be close), Ant Edwards needs to play 7 (seems unlikely). At this rate Scottie Barnes might make All-NBA 2nd team (imo he's 2-3 for DPOY and 3rd team AllNBA

@WolstatSun Pistons are 5 games above the Knicks with 14 games left. Even if the Pistons go 5-9, Knicks would have to go 10 - 2 to pass them. Doubt, that's happening
