We had a fantastic day celebrating National Indigenous Peoples' Day at École White City School! We had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful fiddle performance by Métis fiddler Joseph Desjarlais. It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone!

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Selinger, Mrs. East, Ms. Butz, Mrs. Fuchs, Ms. Opper, and Mr. Gawley who helped prepare our students for this year’s track and field competition. Your commitment to our students' growth and success is appreciated!

Our Gr. 8 students had an opportunity to delve into the rich tapestry of Indigenous culture and learn about the significance of the tipi. We would like to extend our gratitude to Kesey Starblanket, PVSD Knowledge Carrier, and Kirk Chief, who assisted Kelsey. @PrairieValleySD

We had the privilege of hosting Trina Markusson, author of Good Morning Sunshine! She delivered a powerful presentation to some of our classes on practical tools and strategies that help students navigate life's challenges with resilience. @TrinaMarkusson @PrairieValleySD

The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation has announced the withdrawal of extracurricular activities Monday, March 25 to Thursday, March 28. This means all extracurricular activities at all Prairie Valley schools are cancelled next week. Read more: 22.files.edl.io/0cee/03/22/24/…

The STF has announced a one-day strike for March 20 and a two-day withdrawal of extracurricular activities for March 21 and 22. As a result, all Prairie Valley schools will be closed on Wednesday and all extracurricular activities are cancelled on Thursday and Friday

We had another fantastic day at ÉWCS! Our gym was filled with Grade 7 students who presented their Science Fair projects! @PrairieValleySD

The Grade 8 students @EWCSWolverines presented their Heritage Fair projects today. This was a great opportunity for students to explore #heritage, #culture, and #history, while developing #research, critical thinking, and communication skills. @PrairieValleySD
