I think yesterday's game truly sums up why Injuries are our biggest problem, When Poku came on after Half Time, The whole team looked so much better. I think, To me at least this show's that the team aren't lost tactically and aren't discouraged to play by the Manager. If you'd have asked me during Half Time yesterday if I thought that Julian had lost the dressing room, I'd have said yes, I no longer think that is the case based on the second half we played. It's also clear that we are playing a sustainability style of football, Which explains why we are putting out rogue teams and making questionable subsitutions. I think also, If Cookie is out longer term & Poku doesn't start against Leicster, we're gonna get even worse. It wouldn't be out of the cards for the club to dip into the Free Agent market to fill in the massive country sized holes in this team as it stands. In terms of my thoughts towards current injured players returning. I don't think we will see Burrell or Madsen again this season, I think whilst they will probably be match fit- We won't want to risk them for next season. As for Chair, I think it's pretty clear that he's either regressed in recovery since he started training again and that's whats caused him to be out, Or that the decision was made to hold off on his return for as long as possible, Which could lead into next season or very late this season; In order for him to be as fit as possible, if he starts playing in the Development Squad between now and the end of this season I think that is proof I'm right. - It's also possible he picked up another injury or extenuated his current injury when he was training. At this current point given all of this information, Some other stuff I won't share and also just general vibes around the club- Sacking the manager isn't the call to make. Whether that's for sustainability in terms of a season, Financially in terms of paying him out, Or just confidence that returning injuries + the summer will mean we can truly bring out the best of the squad with Stephan. Blaming the man for being in a situation that he can't control, Even if you blame the club, Medical Staff whomever, For why we are in this position and letting the situation get as bad as it is, He isn't at fault for it. The situation at QPR is dire and I'm not gonna deny that, but making irrational emotional shouts for people's heads at the club will not change the problem and could make it worse long term.
