Watch any of the great documentaries on the beauty, alienness, richness, but peril to life below water and you will understand #SDG 14's importance. I suggest "My Octopus Teacher" on Netflix for a compelling year-in-the-life of an ordinary octopus. It's nothing but extraordinary!

#SDG 13 even with the massive alteration in emissions due to the nearly-global shutdown of the pandemic, our 6% drop in greenhouse gas emissions is still less than the 7.6% required to limit global temp rise to 1.5C. Our planet is in crisis & solutions are needed right now.

#SDG 12 shares the responsibility to purchase & consume only what you need with manufacturing's drive to produce only what's demanded. It will take thinking on both conservation and technological advance to ensure the planet is livable for all the myriad things for years to come!

#SDG 11 was the focus of the 2019 Civil Societies Conference held in my home of Salt Lake City. Women of the World is lucky to be in such a beautiful city where many progressive efforts are being made to make it more livable for a diverse population now and in the future.

Inequalities are at the heart of what drives strife and the failure of structures supporting liberal democracies across the world. Equal opportunities supports a scientific future that enables the brightest minds to be in place to solve key problems. #SDG 10 addresses this.

Started by engineers, @WomenWorldUT believes that the advancement of science as called for in #SDG 9 is key to ensuring existential problems are solved and there is growth in sectors that support the other SDGs. Scientific problem solving is necessary to make progress on SDGs.

Women of the World is proud of its work with the forcibly displaced community, Salt Lake City employers, and #SDG 8. In 2020, WoW increased the revenue of our clients by $943,000 through new jobs or improving careers. #economicempowerment
