I think this is such a great example of the intellectual dishonesty of the Free Palestine movement. Hamas captured actual hostages. What you were comparing it to is a population of people, some of whom have been accused of crimes, some convicted of literal terrorism, and yes, some internment in the course of prosecuting this war. Not all of those being held or being held for good reasons, the AP had a good story about the shakiness of some of the charges, but it’s fundamentally a different situation than terrorists kidnapping civilians and making demands. Israel also has a justice system, as it is a democracy. These cases will move through it. There’s no justice system for children kidnapped by terrorists.
