i think 99% of most playing pitching via 3rd party platforms are grifts. there's some legit curators on there, sure, but once you start getting money and metrics involved i think it should all be thrown out the window

love my choices of venues to book shows in boston: 1) guaranteed to lose hundreds of $ unless you sell out then maybe you make $5 2) maybe you don’t get a sound person even though you paid for one & maybe your friend gets wrongfully kicked out 3) lose date you locked in weeks ago

i hate how people get so box office obsessed i didn’t know everyone was a board member for warner bros i blame variety for the framing of it. even if people aren’t liking the movie, just feels like they they pick&choose their sides of the battles for these conversations
