Muslims are not dangerous. We are human beings like everyone else, with families, love, care, and ordinary lives. Our faith teaches compassion, not hatred. Our Prophet taught respect and mercy.
Yes, there are a few extremists who distort our religion and bring shame to it, but they do not represent the vast majority of Muslims.
So why is it that many still get profiled and treated as suspects? Is it fear, or hate?

I’m a freelance video editor. My laptop is custom built, $1,900. It has every client project and deadline on it.
My cousin Rohan came to stay for 2 weeks. I made it clear: “Don’t touch my laptop. I have work on it.”
He said: “Bro, just 5 minutes. Let me see if GTA runs on it.”
I said no. At night, after I fell asleep, he took it anyway.
Next morning it was burning hot, fans at max, and the screen had a “GPU overheated” error.
Turns out he installed overclocking software and ran a benchmark. GPU fried.
I managed to recover the data, but I missed 2 client deadlines. Penalties + refunds: $1,100.
He said: “I didn’t know that would happen. Why are you being so serious? You work from home anyway.”
I filed a complaint with cyber cell for unauthorized access and filed a civil suit too.
His dad came to my house: “He’s just a kid. Forgive him. He’s doing his MBA, this will ruin his placement.”
I asked: “Is this what they teach in MBA? Use someone else’s $1,900 tool without asking?”
Court ordered him to pay $1,450. Now $180 gets taken out of his stipend every month.
He did get a placement, but the company saw the case in the background check and withdrew the offer.
Family now says: “You’re ruining the relationship.”
I say: The relationship wasn’t ruined by the laptop. It was ruined the second he ignored “no.”
