Emily's Garden Seed Library is now open at the Main Library and Midway Branch! Stop by to pick up seed packets for your garden at no cost. Special thanks to the Woodford County Master Gardeners for sorting the seeds into packets.

The Library invites the public to attend a meet and greet for candidates running for political office in Woodford County on Monday, October 24 at 5:30pm at the Main Library. Join us to meet and talk with candidates face to face. No sign up necessary.

Children got to decorate free pumpkins from the Library’s booth at the Midway Fall Festival this past weekend. We gave away 725 pumpkins to kids, courtesy of the Midway Business Association. The abandoned pumpkins have found a new home on the porch of Midway City Hall.

Tickets for Autumn Tea in the Countryside go on sale tomorrow (September 1)! Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library.

Shelby Jett and other volunteers from the Bluegrass Railroad Club plan to display Shelby's small O-scale and HO-scale switchyard layouts in the library on Saturday and Sunday, August 27-28. 🚂Also, join us for a family Train Time program on August 27 at 11am!

Summer Reading signups are starting now! Join us for our Summer Reading Kickoff Party at the Main Library and Midway Branch on June 4 from 10am-1pm.

The Main Library will be closed Friday, February 25 due to construction. The Library will reopen on Saturday, February 26 at 9am. The Midway Branch Library will be open on Friday from 9am-6pm to serve you.

This Sunday, those who attend Bibliophiles & Chocolate Lovers (for adults) or Book Bites (for teens ages 12-18) take home a chocolate goodie bag. Join us Feb. 13 from 3-4pm at the Main Library to talk about your favorite Valentine's Day reads. Call (859) 873-5191 to sign up.
