A group of faculty and students recently traveled to Havana, Cuba as part of the Busquedas Investigativas program. They engaged in research with Cuban educators and made site visits to different schools and universities in Havana and other provinces. A true #OnlyatGW moment! 💛💙

#BREAKING: The United Nations has just voted overwhelmingly to condemn the 60-year-old U.S. blockade on Cuba. The vote outcomes was: - 185 countries in favor of the resolution - 2 against (the U.S. and Israel) - 2 abstentions (Brazil and Ukraine)

Today, the United Nations will vote for the 30th year on a resolution Cuba will introduce condemning the U.S. blockade. An overwhelming majority of countries support the annual resolution, and only the U.S. and Israel are expected to vote against it.
